a wonderful message I received from my friend matthew

funny story.
alright, so yesterday i had work early in the morning, by my 11:30 lesson i was feeling so sick and awful so i got someone to work my lifeguard shift from 12:30 to 4:00 for me. I felt really bad for the guy though because in taking my shift he had to work from 12:30 to 9:00 at night. then i get home and find out that a scholarship that i won that was $10,000 renewable for all four years of college got taken away from me because i switched from baylor to ut. so i’m all pissy about that because i don’t know if my decision to switch to UT was worth it and i was not feeling good and felt awful for making the guy take my shift. so i’m like, “i’m gonna do something productive today to get my mind off things cause i’m in such a bad mood.” So i decide to clean out my car (which is rare and has probably only happened like 3 times in the past 4 years) so i’m going to clean stuff out of my car and, of coarse, there is my graduation brochure thing that you wrote a note on that i had NO IDEA existed until yesterday. (that shows you how much i clean out my car). And you know how people say “aw you made my day” and things like that but most of the time it’s just empty words. like their day probably would have gone on just the same had that event never happened or would be just as happy. no. finding and reading that note literally MADE MY DAY a million times better. It was such a nice note and i appreciate it so much! you’re a great friend:) thanks georgia!
